EDI has been around for decades. Over that time, the evolution of what EDI encompasses has changed. While the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) tries to standardized EDI document sets, the human factor has intervened and prevented standards in EDI to proliferate.

Grey Wolf has offered Partner Connect since 1997 and it too has evolved over time. From supporting spEDItran to BizTalk Server to a hosted solution, Partner Connect has changed as technology has improved.

From our perspective, EDI is not just ANSI X12. Partner Connect supports XML, CSV, Excel...any file format. In addition, it does not require a VAN. Partner Connect supports eMail, FTP, sFTP, HTTP, AS2...almost any transfer protocol.

It also does not require an EDI module or importer at the ERP level. Instead, APIs and Web Services provide the integration with your ERP. This give you more flexibility and control over your integration at a much lower cost.

The prerequisites for Partner Connect are Grey Wolf Web Services Lite and the APIs (for SX users only).

This $400 fee is incurred each time you activate Partner Connect.
Grey Wolf makes your life easier by working with your trading partners to complete the document setups. The setup fees range in price from $165 to $990 per document per trading partner. To see specific pricing CLICK HERE.
In some cases, you will not need to test the document setups since the specifications across trading partners for a specific document remain EXACTLY the same. In those cases, we are able to substantially reduce the price of the additional setups. While the initial document setup fee remains the same, you can potentially experience up to a 70% discount on additional document setups IF testing is not required for the additional setups. After the documents have been setup and tested with your trading partners. There is a transaction fee charged for each document (not per kilocharacter). If a VAN is required, you will not be incurring VAN charges. They are included in the transaction fee. The rate per document can get as low as $0.016 per document (a lot less than the $0.47 per document with the United States Postal Service). To see specific pricing CLICK HERE.
